This week for Reading we had to select three articles all from a different genre.as we read we had to write our thoughts on the article. Where possible we had to identify some of the shapes we have looked at in writing, and try to create a better headline the author could have used.

my first a article is called Message in a bottle arrives in NZ. This articles genre is local news.this article is about how a Greek sailor drop a bottle in the sea with his number in it then a couple of weeks later and locale fisher mad found it and rang the number the the number took him to a Greek household .My thoughts on this article is how did the bottle not get lost in the sea and how did it end up in New Zealand. If i could make a new head line it would be Greek sailor leaves a message
my second article is called Push to make kids sports more fun and less competitive.this articles genre is sports. my thoughts on this article is that I agree with it I think that sports for kids should not about winning and they should focus more on having fun. if i could change the title I would change it to kids sports need to change.
4 year old buys $3500 worth of ice-cream
my third article is called 4 year old buys $3500 worth of ice-cream. this articles genre is entertainment. my thought on this is what did the parents think? how did he get 3500$?. if I could change the head line I would change it to Parents are fuming after there kid spends 3500$.
